Cuban Cafe

There seem to be a sense of urgency for me to place my order. Settled for the Cuban sandwich because of the urgency. The sandwich was pretty good, but I would have rather ordered the fried pork chunks. I finally noticed them while reading the menu after I had placed the order. I will go back and order that item next time.

The food was absolutely amazing!!!! Super delicious and definitely worth checking out! The plates were really fulfilling and absolutely worth the price! The rice and beans were absolutely worth the try too!

Just got a Cuban sandwich and Flan right before closing and as always it was delicious! The place is always clean and the employees are very friendly. The sandwich is so big you could share the other half. It’s loaded with delicious juicy pork and the bread is so fresh , warm pressed with the perfect crunch . Not to mention the Flan is absolutely worth trying! Worth every penny!

On the 19 of February I purchased a roasted chicken leg quarter, yellow rice and an additional order of black beans because the meal only comes with one side. Anyway when I got home and looked at the meal I noticed an additional piece of chicken thigh and said to my self, oh they gave me extra chicken cool. I tasted the chicken and it was like bit into a piece of rubber. It tasted very old as if they couldn’t wait to get rid of it to an unsuspecting customer. I was sick to my stomach. I thought, no wonder they added an extra piece chicken. The rice and beans was stale. I had to dump it and wasted $15 and some change. I was very disappointed because a client of mine told me that their food was good. I called the restaurant and reported it to Angie. She stated she did not know the chicken was old but they will cook some fresh chicken and to pick it up in two hours. I told her I would pick up the food but I did not. I didn’t want them to spit in my food or contaminate it with other germs because I had complained. I have learned my lesson well and should have known better when I noticed that I was the only customer there. I wouldn’t recommend this place to eat. You can easily get food poisoning. And they had no customers. That was a red flag.

The absolute best Cuban sandwich I have had since I lived in Central Florida. Full of delicious meat and cheese and pickles, pressed to perfection. I’m not ranking it on atmosphere, because it is an eat outside or carry -out place. But I highly recommend it, and I will definitely be back.
