Crown Spa Hotel Scarborough by Compass Hospitality

Not a very nice stay this time, it’s getting very dated. My room was not pleasant at all.. dirty toilet on arrival, tv positioned so you can’t actually watch it in bed. View is horrible and so is the smell when you open the window which is needed as the room is so hot. Bath falling apart! Not good don’t think il will be staying again it’s a shame

Great hotel would stay again only downside in room 220 my room reported bath plug not doing its job and was told be fixed but wasnt so forced to have shower instead, 1 window wouldn't stay open out of 2, the double bed consisted of 2 single mattresses and one side of bed drawer was missing to put belongings in, had safe but no instructions to open it, leisure pool good but was freezing and sauna area was great too, location have go up big Bank to get there from sea front but suppose worth it for the view but be differcult for those disabled in wheelchair use or disabled without a car, and tv antenna was temperamental due to poor connection turning majority off channels pixeled at least throughout the day,

4 star rating for this hotel is for the facilities - not the quality--or in this case the lack of it. If you want to pass a evening try the dining room you will not be disappointed with the slow service and lukewarm food. Rooms are tired and though fairly clean. Hotter tried to deliver a paper every though we emphasised only wanted 1 day that is the standard of service. Is it value for money - definitely not. Would we stay again- once bitten twice shy

Knowing it was a special occasion, James arranged for us to have a sea view room that offered breathtaking views of the sea. It was the perfect backdrop for a birthday celebration. But James didn’t stop there. Upon entering our room, we were greeted with a heartwarming surprise - a lovely birthday card and a selection of exquisite chocolates waiting on the table. It was these thoughtful touches that elevated our experience from great to extraordinary. The hotel itself was a dream, with its elegant decor, comfortable amenities, and a serene atmosphere that allowed us to unwind and celebrate in style. Every request was met with promptness and a smile, making us feel like royalty. In conclusion, our birthday visit to the Crown Spa Hotel was a delightful experience, thanks to the exceptional service and the personal touch provided by James and the rest of the staff. We left with beautiful memories and a promise to ourselves to return to this little slice of paradise. The parking was coinvent and excellent value, again James was very helpful in guiding us to how to make our parking stay efficient.
