Good drinks, nice atmosphere, great service
Excellent place to meet friends, have a coffee, a bite to eat and relax, certainly be returning
Great beer selection. Lovely venue.
Not bothered about the café, but keen on the tap room. Shame it's so quiet on Thursdays, but will attempt to single-handily keep it open!
We arrived having never been to a crazy goat before, we thought the decor was good and there was a decent ambiance, we sat down, decided what we wanted from the limited brunch menu, indicated we were ready to order and were told bluntly, “it isn’t table service” which is not a problem at all, but when the server greeted us on arrival he could have let us know at that point we needed to come up to the til to order. The food arrived, 2 x smashed avocado on toast with poached eggs and I x scrambled egg and bacon with toast. The smashed avocado came with a lot of chilli flakes which wasn’t on the item description, and one of the people in our party really doesn’t get on well with chilli flakes so ended up scrapping as much off as possible. the poached eggs, were either under cooked or over cooked, both orders had one of each and the smashed avocado had A LOT of lemon juice in which made it actually quite tart. We helped ourselves to the self service water and the glasses smelt like eggs (presumably from them being in a dishwasher?). We could have of course said something but we were on a tight time frame and because the server hadn't been that friendly previously we decided to just eat and leave as we’d already paid for it. Unfortunately it’s not somewhere we’d try again for those reasons.
We come here quite a lot for coffee with friends and always really like it! The coffee is really good and the couple of times we've had brunch as well, the food has been nice. Alex and the rest of the team are always helpful and friendly too, plus we love it when Arthur the dog is there!
Been going here for a little while now coffee isn’t bad, but today I ordered a tuna toastie and a pork sage roll and a toast that as well, but both of them was burnt and been feeling nauseous and bloated ever since 2pm and now it is 8:35 what is sad because I was enjoying coming here regularly. Also the prices are quite high about £14 for sausage, roll a sandwich and a coffee
Good place to chill out with a hot chocolate and flapjack
Hmmmm ... not a great selection of food to be had for brunch .. very drab .. expresso coffee needs looking @ as it didn't express anything apart from the "oh" ..I'll be thinking twice maybe to go again . .. .
