Absolutely trash. My meal was free as I had Cox at my wife’s Christmas party. Let me tell you the pork and brisket both tasted exactly like cardboard, the beans were absurdly salted beyond being edible and the Mac and cheese clearly started off in a can. How noodles can be over done and under done at the same time is beyond me and you can convince me the cheese is anything other than mostly made from plastic. This chain should be held criminally liable for this poor excuse for food. Disrespecting a cows life has literally never been so tasteless.
We just moved to town and I am so glad we found Cox BBQ. The lines are always very short, the food service is very fast, and the prices are very good for what you get. The sweet potato fries are my absolute favorite. It doesn't change the food any, but I wish they had kept the big booths instead of exchanging them for tables They also took the sauces off the tables-now you have to go up front and pump those little paper cups. I hate that.
This is our first time coming here. We just moved here in August. I brought my 2 daughters with us, they were interested in the brownies while we were ordering and they received a sample. When we got our drink and number and sat down, a few minuets later we received our food. Then Christine came over with some more brownies for my girls. It was a very nice gesture and we’re very appreciative. The service was great from all the staff, but miss Christine topped it with the extra brownies. Thank you so much! we will be back again!
You can tell your at a chain BBQ. Gives off a very corporate feel. I had the Burnt Ends. Portion was good, but they had what looked like pulled pork mixed in with my Burnt Ends? I ordered just 1/2 pound of Burnt ends.
Love this place... and they serve Mountain Dew
