Courigan's Irish Pub

I didn't even want to give this one star. This place is nothing other then an understaffed oversized dive bar. Pretty sure we only got our menus and first drinks because physically went to the bar. We never got acknowledged by the waitress or the guy walking past us regularly. The food was horrible, I've never had grainy beer cheese and the pretzels were not soft. I don't what they think made their gravy "Guinness gravy" but I'm pretty sure I ate a rosemary bush. The fish and chips had transparent tasteless batter, we only ate what food we could because we were starving at that point. By the time we waited for the round of plates to be cleared from our table we had been ready to order another round for a bit, the waitress and the guy walking around had had a full conversation not far from our table and kept looking at us so I know they were aware we were there. Bartender finally took our order for another round of 2 ciders, a beer and a martini(which im sure the olive garnish hadnt seen any liquid in days as the olives were shriveled and had white spots all over them), nothing difficult. That had quite the waiting period as well. All in all it was a horrible experience, in which we paid over $100 for horrible food and basic drinks. We will not be returning, we will not be recommending and we will tell people to avoid this place.

Came here expecting cheap drinks and meh bar food. Got cheap drinks and one of the best wraps of my life. Incredibly impressed.

Everything we ordered was very good...prompt friendly waiter. Really surprised by the delicious side of veggies I ordered (best ever)

Came here because our normal pub (Mary Margaret’s) was too packed and we were hungry. Do yourself a favor, skip it. For a Saturday night the place is dead and we still can’t get any service. Waited 20 minutes for someone to even come get drink orders, had to ask to order food after 30 minutes, and no one ever came to check on us or ask for more drinks. Not to mention the food was barely edible. Fish and chips had no seasoning, the beer cheese tasted gritty, and the “Guinness gravy” definitely came out of a can and is more like country gravy. Save yourself a trip and go elsewhere.

Had an entertaining time. The fish fry was awesome. Even if it was red grouper. ;).

i really hope the new owners filter through all the bizarrely good reviews here. staff is very nice and yes, the bar is well stocked and there are seats outside... but honestly that's it. there is nothing else going on here. we have tried 4 or 5 times and the food is just patently bad. mashed potatoes burnt when they were cooked yesterday, plated food dry, cold, and greasy. on 3 separate occasions weeks apart gravy for standard irish fare was literally a solid congealed mess. if you get something deep fried it's ok (at best) and that's my recommendation. i basically told family and friends don't invite us to eat here again there are just way too many better options in downtown.... when the new owners (hopefully) change things i will be happy to try again.... just please... change things.
