Cotton Patch Cafe

Literally just got home with our To Go order. My burger (medium) was supposed to be cheese and ketchup only - it had some chunky, brown, mayo sauce on it. Even after scraping it off my burger I could taste it. My fries were stone cold. My husband got a 6 ounce sirloin, or a hamburger patty is more like it. The "steak" was supposed to be medium rare, but it was more like well done. We were told our food would be ready by 6:40pm. We didn't get it for at least 40 minutes after that, but I'm sure the food was done by 645, I'm only guessing because of how cold the food was. I know restaurants get busy, but when you put Door Dash orders over everything else, you're going to put out cold, unappetizing food. We live 3 minutes away, thought we found a restaurant close by to splurge on every once in a while. All we found was a waste of $40. The food is so salty my dog won't even eat it. We didn't even get butter with the rolls, or the side of gravy we paid for.

I orderer chicken fried chicken and they gave chicken fried steak . This I absolute blunder i dont like this

I was craving comfort food today. My chicken fried chicken, garlic mashed potatoes & fried okra really hit the spot. Great soft warm roll, as well. Our server was extremely nice.

We had a fish special for two. I just wished that my food was hotter and more flavor to it.

Great place for breakfast or lunch. Super service and a great meal. Make a stop you'll be glad.

I used to love this place and keep trying it from time to te hoping it will go back to its glory days. But no not even close. CFS was half cooked and tasted like raw dough and all the food for all 3 of us was served cold. Such a disaster of a restaurant. It has so much potential but never lives up to it.

Chicken breast was extremely dry.
