Costa Coffee

A queue to the door, poor lad serving on his own? I waited patiently, because I wanted to use my pre-ordered App Too good to waste. Eventually I was next , I swiped my app, but then the person in front asked for something else. My App then went onto “collected my item! So it was my turn , the lad said he’d have to get the manager who was upstairs . I can honestly say she looked as though he’d just woken her up, half asleep. She ok’d the purchase. I said to the lad “ I bet your glad I came in, as now you’ve got some help! (because there was still a long queue) I was in there 20 mins!! My hubby had gone from outside waiting in the car…what a nightmare. Ended up buying a coffee to wait for my hubbys return. All for a bun & a packet of croissants! Parking: No disabled parking

Called here for a coffee and toastie (Sunday 4th Feb 24, at around 3pm) there were three staff on duty a young lad making the coffee a girl who took the order and a young lad making the food. The girl threw my toastie across to the lad who caught it with one hand mid air I said have you just thrown that toastie she laughed and said yes. The lad put the toast in to heat using tongs, then when ready he knocked the tongs on the floor but used some others to get to get the food out of the oven.He then picked up the ones off the floor hanging then back on the oven door so when he passed the toastie to me I said you had better wash those you’ve dropped. However I did not see this happen. It was like kindergarten staff looked unkempt, there was dirty pots on the counter. The only member of staff who was working was the young lad wearing glasses doing the coffees. It has put us off returning to this Costa, didn’t use the toilets as they are always filthy at this branch. Come on costa sort your staff out.
