Its unfortunate to have to repeat many other recent reviews for this location. However i think that the young girl in the shop yesterday was the most rudest and inhospitable person i have ever met in any hospitality ever. Wow, it starts with just being stared at when you approach the till to order. No hello how can i help you or a smile, just a blank look with attitude. Then there is the punching of the till keys as she enters my coffees, again silence i have to work out what happens next. Then having made the coffees she stares at you until you take them. Luckily i was not sitting in but as i left and said thank you again i received the most horrendous glare from this person. How she is working in hospitality i don't know, she obviously hates it or hates customers i not sure which, HORRENDOUS ATTITUDE.
I agree with last reviewer. I walked in at 7.45 today to two grumpy young girls. I used to come in a lot before work at a GP surgery, the manager and all the staff were very cheery. How that's changed. It was as if I was putting these girls out by coming in, let alone wanting service. I requested that my croissant be warmed, wow! How dare I make such a request! one of the girls sighed, banged the croissant into the 'oven' slamming the door. However these 2 girls are very happy when they don't have to serve customers but can gossip among themselves. Shocking service. Really gone down hill. Also the table I sat at was vwet dirty. Needless to say I won't be coming in here again. I also heard another man complaining about the service whilst I was in there. Julie. Eastbourne
