Costa Coffee

Had one of the worst customer service experiences of my life today (18/04/2024) at this store. Whoever was on stay-in bar during this shift has absolutely no people skills and was ignorant and miserable. My drink was made, incorrectly called, and then the staff member seemed irritated to even have to interact with me to clarify the drink she had placed far away from me and called incorrectly was in fact my drink. I completely understand you have to deal with rude customers all day and are probably short staffed (I also work as a barista and have to deal with these exact issues on a day to day basis), but it isn't asking much at the hand off point to make a small amount of eye contact, smile, and say thanks to the customer. And to the Costa district managers: This is what happens when you don't rota in adequate staff levels for your stores. Your staff are overworked and unhappy. P.S: Lily, the name on my receipt and Barista in training who served me did really well and was lovely.

Beware you can only stay 2 hours on the Morrisons car park otherwise you will encounter a fine! Min £60-100.00 Signage is about but easily missed ..otherwise its an expensive coffee. I will not be working from this location again.

Absolutely disgusting - arranged to meet a friend for a relaxing long catch-up. Had no clue there was a 2 hour parking restriction. Stayed way over 2 hours and we have both now received an £85 parking fine. Staff are keen to point out Track & Trace at the till, but on asking if you are staying in, they fail to mention the 2 hour parking restriction in place. Have made Costa aware via online contact form, and the response was poor. And to add insult, they do not even offer a free coffee or help with the situation.

We had to ask for the table to be cleaned. And I wouldn’t use the cutlery as it looks disgusting.

Opening times on Google are false. Claims to be open until 8pm, but arrived at 6.40pm to find it closed. Don't put misinformation on Google! I had a wasted trip and will not be returning out of principal!

Great eat in order take away, staff extra helpful the only issue is the place is full of rude people on laptops taking the tables up for hours on end.

Usual good standard of produce but either understaffed or the staff aren't efficient because there were lots of empty tables but they all had the previous customers empty cups and plates still on them.we had to clear a table ourselves and wipe it using the spray bottles which were hanging on a trellis for the staff to use.we all agreed that we will not return to this branch of costa.

- Unsatisfactory customer experience. - I ordered hot chocolate and they gave me chocolate hazelnut. - Not clean. The tables and counter tables look very unhygienic and dirty.
