Excellent food.....salad and Pizza! Had to beg for water and Togo containers... Service needs alot of training...
The pizza is ok but I've tried 1000s of pizzerias all over NJ and NYC. From north Jersey to AC. And philly etc. all over NYC. And the five boroughs but this is ok.
Absolutely do not understand the hype about this place. The pizza was inedible. We each had half a slice and couldn’t eat any more. We ended up throwing out the rest of the pie. It tasted sour and like one of the ingredients had gone bad. Absolutely would never go here again. Update: I’m not sure what a restaurant that serves food wants me to leave a review on other than how the food tasted. I will be returning to Nonnas.
We came here on a Sunday, mid to late evening, with our young baby. It was our first time going out to dinner with the baby and we thought it might be a good spot for that. We were way off - it was a perfect spot. We thought it would be mellow, but it was jamming. In a good way. Even so, it still seemed relaxing. We didn’t have to raise our voices to have a conversation despite the steady energy in the room. The food was fantastic. We got the shaved fennel salad and the upside down Sicilian pizza. World-class. It was busy, so the pizza took a little bit. But the company was good. Josephina came around and complimented our baby daughter, she made us feel like family. In good time, the pizza came out and it was spot-on. This place lacks nothing and makes positive gains in food and spirit. We’ll be back.
Absolutely the most fresh, high quality food I’ve eaten at a restaurant. The chicken parm is perfect.
Amazing pizza, cool vibe. Try the cannoli bombolone for dessert—it’s da bomb (a-low-knee)!!
Food was good, little overpriced. Service stunk
As soon as I walked in I was hooked by the atmosphere. From the smell to the layout and the music playing, it was perfect. The service was on point and friendly. Ordered the Josephina’s Grandma as I’ve always been told the proper test of a joint is the Margherita. Even the next day it hit home. Really enjoyed my experience, and would definitely go back and recommend.
