Condado Tacos

Tacos arrived cold. Not room temp cold or just cold toppings, but refrigerator cold, down to the tortilla. And when I sent it back, to my shock, it came back just as cold. So can’t even tell you what it tastes like. And the place wasn’t even packed. SMH

My husband and I sat at the bar on Friday (11/1/2024) and we had an amazing experience! There was an influx of customers at one point, but the bartender, Dru, was a complete professional! He was very efficient, and extremely attentive. My husband and I couldn’t believe that he was keeping up with everything while also taking tables! It was truly a great experience and we will be back!

Great Mexican spot in the south end of Charlotte. We had a very attentive and professional waitress. The food was prompt and fresh. It was very affordable. The one drawback is parking is a challenge. There’s paid parking on the street and parking decks nearby, but certainly not immediately accessible during busy times.

I visited this location on 10/15/24 with my friends! we had a party of 10. Our servers name was Drew, and let me tell you, he knocked it out of the park! He was the calm in the storm! We could tell he was very busy, he had an abundance of tables, but he moved so swiftly and didnt miss a beat! We just loved how awesome and kind he was all whilst being extremely busy! We will definitely be back to see Drew!!

Amazing service from Tonee and great food!

I’ve enjoyed Conando Taco in the past, but ran into an issue when trying to order late. DoorDash showed they accepted orders until 11:59 PM, but I called at 11:50 and was told the kitchen closes 15 minutes before. This wasn’t mentioned on DoorDash, their website, or Google, which was frustrating as I couldn’t place my order. The food is great, but they need to update their closing times to reflect this!

Well my friend and I attempted to eat here however…. After waiting for +20mins we actually never received any service. I’m very understanding of a place being busy or short staffed so that wasn’t the worst thing that could happen… it wasn’t until 2 other tables were promptly seated and served after us that we finally decided to just leave. The whole experience seemed like such a hassle to the staff from the moment we walked in. It took forever to be greeted, longer to be seated, and then ultimately just ignored by the entirety of the staff.. no waters, no drink order, no check in… plus we had a toddler with us. At the very least it would have been nice to have the kids order considered. When we left a very kind table near us acknowledged that we were seemingly overlooked and did encourage us to speak with management about it, but after pointing that individual out, they didn’t seem very engaging and it just seemed like a waste to even try. Super shame because it did look good and we were very excited to try the food. Zeroes for everything. Def a waste of time.

Great food and drinks

Tonee was so attentive and kind! Tonee answered all of our menu questions and made excellent food and drink suggestions! Food was phenomenal- beautiful outdoor patio for a quiet Thursday afternoon! Highly recommend!
