Claim Jumper Steakhouse & Bar

So this place had some incredible food!! A little pricey, so if your looking for something cheaper for the family this may not be a good option...but it makes a wonderful date night and the cozy little fireplaces are amazing especially if you can get a table near one. So the 3 stars for service was based on the fact when we was seated we had to waiter/waitress for about 15 minutes and finally the bartender came over to help us and said he wasn't sure where his help was. Also they was out of sour cream and out of onion rings. But other than these few things it was great food!

Well, they got the whole ‘western frontier hunting lodge’ look down.. river rocks and rough hewn lumber walls, with plenty of deer antler light fixtures and whatnot. But if you’re like me and actually care about.. um, the FOOD. Maybe skip this place. Everything we ordered arrived barely warm, as if it had been cooked hours ago and parked under a heat lamp. When I complained about my room temperature cup of chowder, it was quickly replaced with some that actually tasted freshly made. Guess I should have made the same complaint about everything else I ordered. The ‘tri tip’ was also barely warm and tough as leather. The so-called ‘crispy brussels sprouts’ were anything but. (And this one really hurt bc I love me some brussels.) They we hard and under cooked, then barely cropped on the outside, then slathered in some sweet sauce. The mashed potatoes, also just above room temp, had tough lumps mixed in. My date’s french fries were cold, and her hamburger was overcooked and yet STILL somehow not served hot. Honestly, I’m not sure how this place is open. Why 2 stars then? I dunno. I like river rocks? Or maybe the waitresses super over-the-top intensity and ‘friendliness’ ? Ugh. If only the folks in the kitchen cared about their jobs a fraction as much as she cares about hers.

Is it a chain? Yes, it's a chain. Their motto is "Something for Everyone" which beautifully captures the regular Applebee's customer who occasionally wants a better steak, but his wife still wants fajitas. Brilliant!

#1 Server forgot our appetizer #2 Side dishes were cold #3 When 3 out of 4 entrée's were served, 4th entrée took an additional 7 minutes to come out, wasn't a complicated meal, (just a steak) Won't be back again

Great place to watch sports! Lots of seating! Food is good!

Pretty good for a big party of 10 . The waitress ladies are the best wish I would have gotten a name but she knows who she is . Good food from great cooks / chefs in the back . the atmosphere of this place was just beautiful I loved the wood / rock cabin vibe . Keep it the way it is . No complaints from me . Keep it up folks .
