Twice now I have paid lots more than the price tag on items. The first item was a piece of cake just after reopening. I paid about $1.50 more than expected. To be super nice I told the cashier about it as I was walking out the door. When I came back 2 days later the price tag was not changed. Today I bought eggs, marked $2.29 but I was charged over $4.00, and the cashier apologized and said she would have given me the sticker price if I had told her 15 seconds earlier before she entered the purchase in the register. When I learned that my son had already bought eggs and I didn't even need this dozen I went back to return 30 minutes later. Another employee, automatically annoyed, and with an annoying tone was pleased to spout the receipt requirement. I wasn't given a receipt. The original cashier, a nice lady, looked on and added that food cannot be returned. Once again I get the feeling from her that her hands are tied. I tried to be Mr chill but I guess I'm not and it really bothers me that they're unable or unwilling to charge me how the items are marked.
Door is locked while they are open, and bad customer service, sat around for 10 mins with nobody else in the store while they had two workers who couldn’t ring me up until they were done doing what they needed to do.
Unfortunately this is convenient to we live but the store has gone right in the toilet. Ever since Kangaroo took it over the they can't seem to keep inventory on the sodas. Pay your bills so the vendors bring you the syrup. Today was the last straw. Out of 15 or so fountain drinks all but 5 had an out of order sign. This use to be a very busy store but I think the neighborhood is getting sick of disrespectful staff, high prices and lack of inventory. Sell back to circle K if you can't handle it.
Don’t shop at this store if you don’t want to get robbed. One Arizona is for $.99 two for $3.00
Then they’ll tell you that you’re getting a discount at $2.68. When I told them it should be $2.12 for two which includes tax they tell it’s $.80 for tax and I was getting a discount . Then ask me to leave and don’t come back to the store cause the computer is smarter than me.
I used to really love this store… but lately after it changed ownership to the Kangaroo it has gone way downhill and the prices have gone way up. Last straw was finding out they fired Summer who was the manager. She was one of the few reasons I came here. Unfortunately, the rest of the management that I have talked to and interacted with is rude, short, and generally just doesn’t seem to care. Half the sodas were out today and Anthony seemed like I was bothering him just by even mentioning it…. So yeah definitely not worth it anymore. I don’t mind driving to 66th st or ulmerton but will avoid this place like the plague from now on. So sad:(
I live in the neighborhood and come here daily if not multiple times a day. I’ve seen many employees in and out of this store, but this new women working there with red hair named Jenn just started working there a few weeks ago and I’m not one to congratulate someone on doing something that’s their job but she is by far a top tier employee at this establishment. Lisa and summer are the best but Jenn is giving them a run for their money 😂 she is beautiful and very soft spoken but polite, uses such wonderful grammar for someone who’s so young and I love that she’s so hands on with the customers instead of shooing us away to get to the next person if she’s having a conver With someone she’ll have them step to the side and finish the conversation while multitasking and cashing out other employees. She mops and makes the store smell so good. Even when she was in training she would constantly apologize and tell us all she’s new and sorry, you guys did an amazing job hiring this young lady. She is the front of your store and brings lots of smiles out of all of us regulars. She’s very sweet understanding and most of all patient. A guy in front of me one day was 3$ short of milk and he had to be about 80-85 and before I could take my wallet out she paid for it herself and let him go. Having respect for elders is a huge trait this generation lacks so that really showed me she’s different. I hope she stays a long time- she told me during small talk she wants to be a manager one day but didn’t think she could and I told her she could do anything she wants! I hope she stays for a long enough for that manager position to come through- she has wonderful mentors and women like Lisa and summer to look up to! . She’s the only employee there besides management that actually cares, and talks, and is herself not just fake for the sake of customer service. Good job you guys. Tiffany has some work to do, she’s not very nice at all and every time I’m there and she’s the one behind the counter I’m made to feel like a burden or she hates her own life and comes to work with home still with her instead of leaving it at the door. The new black guy Jeff is also great, I was very surprised to see he has a job considering who he is but we thou not judge, I’m happy to see him working and trying to change his life around. He’s a little slow and has some training still to go but no complaints on my end about him, he’s doing great so far. While I’m writing this it was supposed to just to be a good review for Jenn but I have a few other complaints/ congrats on other employees. Whoever the over night guy is that doesn’t work much (as far as I’ve seen) really tall blonde hair- he is extremely rude. He has a certain attitude that screams “don’t ask me anything, don’t talk to me, etc) so I’ve started skipping my night there when he’s working and drive to 711. The other guy antwon is awesome as well, he could definitely work on his customer service skills but every time I see him he’s mostly in the cooler anyways and I absolutely love how much I’ve seen him help Jenn when she had a question her first week and how on top of it he was he would stop everything to help her and teach her what she did wrong or whatever needed help with. I absolutely love this store even if some people/ things needs help or change, nobody is perfect especially a business and Lisa runs that store better than anyone. Lisa and summer are always in over their head but they make it work and everyone works as a team. I’m proud to call this my neighborhood and favorite store
Doesn't have sip and save. Shouldn't be able to call itself a circle k. Don't waste your time as I did.
Devon is the best Circle K employee! Every time I come in he’s always working hard. Today was a rainy day and when I got here he was mopping the floor and he even had what looked like a leaf blower and was drying the floor with it! (He said for safety & cleanliness) All the employees are nice but I think Devon works the hardest and acts like he cares about the store as if it were his own. A wonderful and very rare quality to find in people these days. Thank you!
Great fast service. Staff so friendly and helpful
