Church's Texas Chicken

I use to work there and the employer still hasn’t paid me yet and I was supposed to get a check before December and he keeps ducking from calling me at this point I’m just waiting to hear back from the court system about my claim.

Horrible. The lady that works their hated her job and just put anything in your box.

I’m SHOCKED this location is still open… the last 2 times I went at different times of the day..late morning/evening. They were Out of Okra only serving mashed potatoes Out of strawberry soda. Ridiculous!!!!

Nothing but dark meat available... only biscuits with coleslaw or mashed potatoes as sides... everything else was coming on the delivery truck in a few days... laughable!!! The associate was really nice and apologized... thus the 3 stars for service!

The chicken was fantastic, the no so much. They said with a smile, you are waiting on fresh cooked okra. They promptly left out one order. Mistakes happen sometimes.

1st statement: we only have dark meat available… no problem, let’s proceed with my order. Waiting 6 minutes for chicken NORMALLY contributes to fresh, hot chicken… BUT not to this Church’s Location… They are Serving to what appears to me as dog legs … Disturbed at why would anyone would be okay to serve this… just desired for rectification and leave. After receipt of the chicken, drove back through the drive-they and politely requested thighs in replacement. Mathos, the cashier understood the assignment and appeared to proceed with the process… HOWEVER, he returned to ask for the box of chicken (obvious violation)… automatic gut instinct of regret and unnecessary transaction is about to take place as he talks over my chicken to a tall fair-skinned guy (the OWNER). The so-called OWNER approaches the window to EXPLAIN that HE serves whatever is sent. Then reverse my initial replacement request and TELLS me what he is going to give me. How can you and why would you explain the obvious deficit. Not only did I have to wait for defective chicken… now my time time is further wasted by you telling me that you are giving me 3 more dog legs because thighs cost more!?!?!!! AND then you get upset because I’m rebutting your ignorance. Tried to keep some sort of revenue within your business, but YOU failed. Refund received. What I thought to be one of the best Church’s establishment is now null & void. Now I see why Popeyes line was long and no customer’s were present at Church’s. NEVER AGAIN!!!! Mathos possess more common sense than the “OWNER”. The “OWNER” definitely needs to stay behind the scenes because ignorant is bliss.

This is the WORST location probably in the world!! They are GHETTO with a capital G. The customer service is none existent. And I don’t want to hear anything about Covid because this place beeeeeeen TERRIBLE! Cussing all loud.
