I was so happy when they reopened, but I have to say they are not what they used to be. Ate here twice since they reopened. First time got the teriyaki bowl with fried rice. Chicken rated like it was steamed. Lots of fat and little char. Fried rice was gummy like they used freshly steamed rice. Second time a Bahn mi and spring roll. I was disappointed to find out they did away with the bbq pork and the bread was not the same. Not crisp and fresh tasting, but something like a hoagie roll. The spring roll was good but had split down the entire length. Hope they find the magic again but for now, I won’t be eating here.
Quick easy and yummy. Even with a large line, I think I only was in there to wait, order, and wait for maybe 10-15mins maybe
If you like coming into a restaurant and having 3 employees look at you and then look the other way and totally ignore you while you wait for 5 minutes for someone to say hello and hoping to eat lunch, then this is the place for you.
Clean and fresh tasting food ..
The food was Ok. Very expensive. The noodles were overcooked, and the chicken was over grilled. The tofu was delicious, though. I got a tofu noodle bowl. The spring roll only had noodles, lettuce, and over grilled chicken. (No other veggies)The place was clean. The first time at this restaurant was at a 3 day training at the Kitsap Conference center.
I wish this restaurant wasn't here. It's in such a great location for the city, but it offers very limited hours. I wish a restaurant that offered a full day would move in to accommodate the locals and the shipyard and not just profit off of the workforce. I love their Silverdale location. If this were open evenings or weekends, I would be glad to patronize them, but they have chosen their clientele, and it is not me or anyone who isn't around and wanting to eat during shipyard hours.
Decent food but very expensive for a lunch time meal. Condiments must be requested.
