My husband ordered the tomahawk pork chop. When it was delivered to the table there was a horrible stench that the 4 of us could immediately smell. It was stomach turning. The plate was taken away quickly. The manager came to the table and said the smell was due to the pork coming from a certain farm? It was rancid and putrid. They brought out a prime rib for my husband that he said was delicious. Made the best of the evening with friends but will not be back.
Food was great and service was better. Menu was a bit limited.
This is a great spot for Italian on the South Shore. Good staples on the menu with some variety in the daily specials. Good wine list and drink menu as well.
Seafood casserole was fantastic. Tini Bikini drink was a little disappointing
Happen upon Christina's while out for a joy ride. Was thrilled to find out it is 4th generation of the original Nanina's that was in Dorchester. Food was delicious. Same salad dressing recipe from years ago. The scallops were great with a lot of lobster pieces in tge creamy risotto.
On 7/29 my family and I decided to try this place since it was local and not a chain restaurant. We walked in and waited next to the hostess station, which nobody was at. There were 4 what appeared to be waiters staring at us from the back corner but nobody moved to meet us. After waiting for about 5 minutes a male waiter finally says he'll be with us in a moment before heading into the kitchen. Another 8 minutes go by and still nothing so we decided to leave. We were disappointed because the place had a nice atmosphere despite the outside of the building looking rundown.
