This is the best kept secret on Shawnee Mission Parkway. The food and atmosphere are the best.
The food is ok but they have to many rules
The service was terrible me and my husband ordered the BBQ we did not receive the soup the steamed egg or the cheesy corn the waitress didn't even ask us for drinks we had to ask, I did ask about the soup and stuff multiple times she kept saying it was coming it never did other people who came in after us got their correct food such and the stuff we dud not get our waitress took forever to attend to us for literally anything plus you pay a huge fee 18 percent tip of gratitude mandatory. When I asked for the check I didn't wait for change because I knew it would be another 30 minutes just for that please avoid this establishment at all costs go to k pot!!! It's way better and you get unlimited food plus the servers are kind and look out for you
I have never left a review in my life and work in a restaurant myself but please take this as a warning to not do the all you can eat here. it tasted horrible, the rice had weird brown spots in it. the service was absolutely horrible, our server had an airpod in and we couldn't hear a word he was saying, it was really awkward. that would have been fine except for the fact that we were charged a service fee. 18%!!! when i asked for a box at the end for some squid i had cooked up he refused which i would have understood if we order a lot but we didn't. we did one round of 3 different meats, and for 170 dollars you think the least i could have is a box. do not go here!!
After reading all of the reviews I should have not eaten here. They all tell the truth about the service being awful and a surprise “service fee”. This place wasn’t even close to all you can eat because they choose when you are done. 30 minutes in they brought the checks and turned down everyone’s grill. We ordered 5 times in the “hour” and the first three were brought to us horribly slow. At one point they forgot to bring us our food. Sounds awfully convenient for an all you can eat place to stretch the time it takes to receive- then cook- your meals. GO TO KPOT INSTEAD. That place doesn’t limit how much you eat- they actually replace the grill when it’s needed- and for LESS MONEY you can have hot pot as well. Plus they don’t force you to tip for horribly executed service.
Foods taste as good as 26 years ago.
So glad I stopped in. I had the Kimchi Pancake and grilled beef tongue. Pancake was really flavorful and crispy, with lots of onion. Grilled beef tongue served over onions, really delicious. Service was really good.
They say all you can eat but not right, how yoi can eat 3 peoples with 2 shrimp
This is our go to Korean restaurant, the food is delicious and service was great as well. I had the bibimap and my brother had the dinner portion of jaouk. All the kimchi sides are delicious too. My parents both had the lunch box special which was a good deal for the money, includes some japchae and pot stickers.
