Excellent Pho, and we also had General Tso’s chicken. The chicken pieces were actual big chunks of white meat chicken meat.
Rip-off!! I wanted to warn all customers that they just changed owner. This is the pho noodle that I ordered from them. The portion is way much smaller than before. The food is mediocre and it does not taste like before when the previous owner operated the business. This is rip-off! If you still want to eat their pho noodle, you may have to order a second bowl because they only give you a tiny amount of food. Cheap!!
Good food and good price. Their chicken fillet is absolutely bomb
Went there when I came into the city. The food was mediocre at best. The portion of the pho was extremely small for its price. Still starving after finishing the food. If that’s an experience you want, come to this place
Cheapest restaurant you could find in Columbia. Food is tasty especially the sesame chicken and the pho. I heard that the pho soup was cooked for a whole night, sure enough, good food takes time and work.
2024 UPDATE ON CHINESE WOK EXPRESS: this restaurant changed owners as of 2024. The menu is the same, the food tastes completely different and is a huge downgrade from the previous owners. PROS: same big size portions, same cheap prices, still crispy chicken CONS: the flavors are so much worse. This is not the same restaurant. The cashew chicken is now essentially flavorless and the sweet and sour chicken tastes like an orange sauce. Even the crab rangoons are smaller and somehow noticeably less flavorful. This used to be the best Chinese food ever and now it is completely average. This is a huge loss. I used to come to this restaurant weekly and now would only go if I had a terminal craving for Chinese food. Anyone who has been to this restaurant before will notice a huge difference in the flavors.
I went for two things. Springfield cashew chicken and St. Louis style chicken fried rice (Chinamen). They were both ! Especially the chicken fried rice, which was takeout. I can only imagine how ridiculously delicious it would've been if eaten right away! As others have mentioned, the cashew chicken pieces are huge and easily recognizable as chicken breast meat. I can't deal with questionable chicken parts and pieces! I love crab Rangoon and Eggrolls, but they were both meh. Save your money and buy more fried rice! (Not the best rice pic. I initially only took it to send to my bff, but decided to share it here cuz iykyk!) Portions are large, employees are friendly, there are no frills, you order at the counter, it's clean.
I'm from St Louis and I'm telling you now the rice that their calling Stl style it ain't it.
