Chez Renée French Bistrot

We went on a Wednesday night and we were the only table there the entire time. Our waitress sat by the bar in the next room on her phone most of the time. We had to wait for our wine to be chilled and they were out of almost everything I tried to order. It was Wine Wednesday! Food was mediocre at best. Save your money. We will not be back.

Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options are limited, but they are clearly labelled. Parking: Lots of free parking across the street. We had no trouble finding parking when we went there Saturday evening.

Very uncomfortable seating

I had better experience at other French places. The service needs to be upgraded - maybe add more servers. There is no host up front to welcome you as you enter. One of the servers was very friendly and more active than the other one (only 2 servers we saw that night). The food was so so. The only thing we like very much was the fries. We didn't order any drinks, just water - I read reviews that the drinks aren't good and expensive. Parking: Parking is available across from this restaurant

Real French cooking with an eclectic atmosphere. It reminds me of being in Europe combined with the way my grandmother cooked. If you get a chance to save room for the mousse, it's to die for.

Not worth your time or your money. The pork chop was severely overcooked and dry. The risotto with scallops was over priced for the 3 scallops and burnt chorizo "jerky" that was served, if that was even risotto. The drinks.. an absolute shame. You shouldn't call it an old fashioned if you cannot make one. We spent 101 dollars on the bill for 2, wishing we wouldn't have patronized this milford business.

My wife and I with our two daughters went here to celebrate my oldest daughters birthday. My daughter chose to eat at this restaurant after hearing great reviews from friends. This was our first experience with a French restaurant. Our diner reservation was at 5:30 on a Wednesday but honestly we did not need one at that time, we had the place to ourselves. We decided to try the Charcuterie appetizer with both cheese and meat. It was a great start! It also came with some French bread, pickled onions and sweet pickles. For our entrees I had the Cordon Bleu, my wife had the Orange Chicken, my oldest had the Beef Bourguignon and my youngest had a simple cheese burger with fries. We all shared a bite of each others dish and I must say everything was perfect! My Cordon Bleu was light and crispy on the outside but tender and juicy on the inside, delicious with the Dijon mustard and Smashed Potato. My wife's Orange Chicken was a gamble for her when she ordered (there wasn't a good description) it but she loved it and said she would definitely order it again. It was a seasoned blackened chicken breast covered with a orange sauce, reminded me of an orange marmalade. My oldest daughter's Beef Bourguignon was a pretty thick beef stew with a uniquely delicious flavor. Even my youngest daughter's burger and fries was delicious, the fries were extra crispy and in my opinion perfect. All and all what started as a different place to try turned into a great experience that we will be returning to. Also I can't leave this review without saying that Lili (our server) was top notch. Thanks Lili for taking good care of our table!

Food is authentic French. The portions are good. Very nice selection of wines and cocktails.
