Went especially because it was the 4o's market and wasn't disappointed. It was busy and bustling with activity and I thoroughly enjoyed it and the warm sunshine helped
Lovely place, lovely people.
It's really declined compared to when I was a kid. It's a shame, it used to be the best part of Chesterfield.
Went to the "artisan market". Charlatan market more like. Remember when farmers' markets were new and cool and then all the scammers moved in to charge you £5 for a tiny pot of jam? That's what this is. Come along to get rinsed for some cheap tat. Prices were the epitome of greed. Most looking to rinse maximum cash rather than offer value. They can't all be bad but I didn't find any good.
This is very poor for a so called market town.
