Charcoal Pit

We’ve driven past this restaurant since we bought a home in southern Delaware a few years ago. My wife suggested that we finally stop today and I honestly can say that I wish we would’ve done it sooner. Burgers were great, fries were great and we even took two triple shakes for the road.

Loved this diner!!!

Met here for a quick business discussion. Ordered a vanilla malt and fries. Excellent as usual. Have been coming here since the 80s.

Hot dog was good.

Service was quick and with a smile. I had the angus sliders (i wont try a 2nd time). Son had double cheeseburger and a chocolate shake. He's typically very picky and seemed satisfied, and willing to return, so I'll give it another try and order something else nect time 👍

Charcoal Pit continues to be a community staple on 202. Our service was fast and the food was ho and delicious. My only minor complaint... I wish my plate had more fries. Smile...

It was okay,I got ribs, and they were good, but the milkshakes are kinda mid. Water tasted like it had chemicals in it,was it worth it? Not really. The server was super nice, though

Charcoal Pit is that place that takes you back in time to when places like this were the norm. Great atmosphere and awesome staff. I had a cup of chili, the Smokey Mountain burger. The best way to describe the Smokey Mountain burger is like this. I'm going to take a line from Samuel L. Jackson from Pump Fiction. Now that's a tasty burger. And it was!!!
