Great food as always! Had to wait on several things we asked for. Atmosphere was excellent.
The food was good, reviewing finances over the month and realized they charged me 19.20 for a 9.20 meal, I guarantee you I didn’t tip 10$ but ok…don’t have the receipt so can’t dispute it. I’m either just not going to bother coming back or pay cash only.
Honestly, there were no complaints about the restaurant, I gave this rate because I've been to better. The shrimp here is great! The enchilads and chips and hot sauce are not. All this is, in my opinion. I have been here over a handful of times bc my friend who loves it offers to pay, lol. The server each time has not ever been real talkative. They stick straight to the script and keep it just about serving us. The music is not too loud and the bar is totally separate from the restaurant seating, which I love!
An alright, pretty okay spot. I'm not the biggest fan of Tex-Mex and prefer authentic Mexican so I'm a bit biased but I'll give credit where it's due. Portions are smaller nowadays and fajitas don't come out as hot as they're supposed to anymore. Food in general, while tasty enough, is lacking a bit of the sparkle it used to. The in-house fresh tortillas however are absolutely the star of the show. So good! I typically prefer corn tortillas and don't like flour all that much, but Cha Cha's flour tortillas are an exception. Cocktails taste watered down though. I've had Margaritas & other bar cocktails (last time was a Sex on the Beach) and they aren't really the best cocktails in the world, but not the worst either. Service was nice, attentive waiters and they never let us run out of chips and salsa (which are also quite delicious in their own right). Regardless, I'd still say the tortillas & chips and salsa are really the only standouts. Everything else is mostly a B for quality. It's a Mansfield area landmark though and it's been around here for ages, so might be worth checking out just for that or if you like Tex-Mex.
Very underrated Tex Mex. Never disappointed me for 25 years.
Food is really good - one request: Add more bell peppers to Fajitas please - there's usually only one or two small pieces Atmosphere - Good, local family owned Service - Inconsistent, I've had AMAZING service and have had TERRIBLE service. It's really up and down, would recommend to management to do some type of ongoing service standards training.
