All-around great neighborhood restaurant!
I liked everything about this place, was my 1st time there. It's the kind of family-owned joint we like. Food was very good, service was great and the place is very neat. We will go back.
My Buffalo Wings were completely dry (no sauce)... My Reuben was just okay and my French Fries tasted old...I think the cook was just having a bad day. I've had better food on other visits. I will eat there again and hopefully the cook will do better.
First time, we will be back. The Pot Roast was amazing along with the pork chop.
I have a bone to pick... That Cajun chicken sandwich, lists on the menu, that it has 'creamy mayonnaise', and yet, when it arrived... No mayonnaise (creamy or otherwise) was present... Bun was dry. Same sort of issue with that 'Broccoli with garlic butter' side... Dry. Un-garlic-butter-ified, if you will... Either un-lazy them kitchen folks, or reprint the menu, so that 'creamy mayonnaise' and 'garlic butter' no longer build-up expectations, only to have them crushed accordingly.
Oh my goodness! How did I not know about this little gem of a place until now? The menu is robust with plenty of options. The restaurant is quaint and the staff is friendly and efficient. We will go again. Food & drinks: The pork chop and pot roast were delicious. Thank you for the seasoning the broccoli. The macaroni and cheese...so yummy!
Service was less than accommodating. Server when asked to substitute a side for a soup she said no because her computer did not give her a option. Then offer no kind of solution. Like should we delete the side and order sandwich and soup ala carte. This cause us to order way too much food. The have much more cost and leftovers. Then she did not check back timely for refills or ask how was our food. Terrible service. Safety: Great area Walkability: Many people take walks in the area Food & drinks: Awesome food
