This place is awesome! Kind of a Mediterranean Greek/Lebanese Fusion type restaurant that specializes in these bowls that you can craft on your own or order off of a menu. A friend took me for lunch and I had the Harissa Honey Avocado Bowl, from Cava's website it states: "Harissa honey chicken + hot harissa vinaigrette. Crazy Feta®, hummus, corn, avocado, rice, SuperGreens, more" as the ingredients. It was amazing! They also have a variety of pitas made to order or chef's choice. If you are in Baton Rouge, I would recommend that you give them a try. Cava is not cheap nor is it expensive, I would place it middle of the road but for the quality of the ingredients, it is what it is. They also have this pita bread that tasted like it had been fried, it was divine and they have speciality drinks, I had the Cucumber, Mint, Lime. It was divine. Give Cava a try!
They’re so rude at this location every time. Last time I came they forgot to make my mobile order only to tell me they were out of what I wanted and paid for. This time, they were completely rude altogether. The two employees would rather speak to each other than to me. While making my food, she ran out of rice and instead of getting more gave me HALF a scoop in my rice bowl :( very unhappy.
This location is amazing, service is quick, employees are very nice and attentive, and food in general tastes great. Would go everyday if I could!
Great customer service! Always fast and always yummy!
Nemo was amazing! Couldn’t get my online order because of traffic and I called and she put in the fridge for me to pick up later! Very accommodating and helpful!
I love this location the people are amazing and the food is always fresh and delicious
Food was great, and staff was super helpful and friendly!
Great people! Mr Jeff is an amazing person asking me how I’m doing every time I go in!!!
Update for 4/22 at 12:35pm: I came back again, was hesitant with how horrible it was the last time, but must be a better timeframe to come since it was fairly empty and the lady serving/at the register was much more friendly and they had all the ingredients. This is the CAVA I knew before. Hoping to regain my loyalty here and will up my review as time goes by. The most horrendous Cava experience I’ve ever had! Brought out of town guest who’ve never been. I rave about Cava, because the food is usually great! We had a terrible experience waiting for missing ingredients at the one in Perkins Rowe 45 minutes prior, where we gave up and headed to LSU location instead, only for it to be WORSE! The rude workers blame it on short staff, but there were six ppl behind the counter and I’ve seen less at the Cavas in the Midwest where they’re able to fulfill everyone’s orders and have ALL the ingredients on the menu despite long lines. They couldn’t even offer anything as an apology for missing ingredients (so many missing ingredients, I waited an additional 20 minutes for spicy chicken as my family and guests ate first), long wait over an hour for us (they had one young girl waiting on a whole long line while three ppl ran online orders taking all the ingredients before the girl could fill line orders for waiting guests), wrong orders for pick-up (as I stood in line watching ppl come in and complain), and of course the register machine broke and we had to wait for it to work again, because there were just too many angry customers to do anything. I’m amazed they didn’t just shut the store down and tell everyone to leave.i tried to upload a video, but only allows photos. This Cava is poorly run and they need better management!
