Very friendly and helpful staff. Interesting to see how they went out of their way to accommodate anyone and everyone. Food was decent as well. Good place.

Note to the Chef - Fish Pie requires fish in it as Potato Pie is not the same as Fish Pie, maybe provide a magnify glass and we may find some but to be honest it was totally miss titled and fairly un-edible. Having travelled north since 11am it was such a shame the food was so poor. Note to waitress - When asked if you have any mustered and being told you only have "English" and said "That will do" maybe next time go and get some as I waited for 5 mins and nothing arrived - so once again I was let down. So what can I say other than total let down with the evening meal. Thank God the breakfast was self-service and follows a well known routine, but still people were waiting for some of the food to be stocked up after running out. Maybe next time I should pick a Premier Inn which is not linked to a Brewers Fayre pub as Friday was very poor here and Saturday (different Premier Inn) was also linked with a Brewers Fayre pub - Also rubbish evening meal there too, but that is a different review.

Hideous food. Burger inedible, like shoe leather. Steak well over cooked. Fish was chewy and all the chips were like rubber. At least it was cheap during the holiday.

keep a menu with you and check what your served is what you ordered.Substitutions and short orders are not acceptable

Great for kids, good value and staff are always friendly. Just the food is always a bit...meh

It was a family meal for my 60th birthday and we loved it as always. We've never had a bad experience at the Castlewood . The service the staff and the food were brilliant.

Just have to say congratulations to all the young staff employed at Castlewood. We have visited a few times recently and have received excellent service, attention and genuine help. I am disabled and cannot fault them , as soon as they see I cannot get through the door alone someone is by my side offering assistance. This is genuine not forced or learnt out of a book, they are all concerned. Thank you so so much for your help which is not overpowering , just right. If there is an award I could nominate you for within the company please let me know, in the meantime please do not change your policies they are just the ticket to make people welcome. Thank you. Parking: Plenty of room grass nearby to exercise dogs Wheelchair accessibility: 100% flat surface throughout, toilet access 100% and enough room to turn around inside. Plenty of room to sit at a table or park your scooter or chair and sit on an ordinary chair. Assistance always there to help carry drinks and carvery if required.

Best breakfast in the whole world. this place cannot be missed... witherspoon is the worst place for breakfast, shocking, Parking: lots of rooms for parking Wheelchair accessibility: no problems with wheel chair..
