My husband and I went here a few weeks back for the first time after living in our home in the area for 5 years. I cannot tell you how addicting this place has become. My favorite is the chorizo tacos. The queso and salsa are amazing. And you know it's good because finding parking is so hard sometimes. I come sometimes weekly. If you haven't tried it, you should.
Hands down, one of our favorite places to eat! They cater to all types of "diets", and they always have the BEST happy faces working there! Dietary restrictions: I can't have sugar, and they told me exactly which meat has sugar (carnitas)! I am so grateful!
From outside the restaurant looks huge. But once inside, it's quite a bit smaller. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I ordered three different tacos. Fish taco, Barbacoa, and I think it was Mama's beef taco. I thought all three were good. They average around $4 a piece. I thought they were good. The problem I have with street tacos. $4 doesn't seem like a lot for a taco. But three of them weren't enough for me and walked out hungry. So I would probably need four or possibly five tacos to get filled. So now I would be at $16 to $20. At that price, I could eat at a really nice. Mexican restaurant and have a couple of big loaded tacos, 2 sides, and a salad. This is just my opinion. I know a lot of people love those small street tacos, including my son. He's in his mid-twenties, and this is his favorite Mexican restaurant in town.
Quaint little restaurant with outside dining available. The food was very flavorful and fresh!!
Always a good meal. Just wish the tacos were a little bigger .
hands down my favorite restaurant in st pete.
