Carpaccio Tuscan Kitchen & Wine Bar

We have been to Carpaccio’s many times and have always had good service and food but our last visit last week was very disappointing. We were rushed the whole meal, the eggplant which is always stellar had too much cheese and your staff cleared our table while we were still eating. Our drinks were cleared away and we hadn’t finished them. It was busy but let us finish our meal and drinks before taking them away. We spent a lot of money that night and didn’t appreciate the staff pushing us out. We have never been treated like that before. Like I said we’ve been there many times but not sure when we’ll be back if ever.

The rice balls were not my speed, but I had the meats pizza subbed the ham with prosciutto and added truffle oil. This was the best pizza I have had in the state of Maryland. My friends all loved their dishes and or desserts.

I received a coupon in the mail for a free appetizer, which got me really excited to try this place. When I walked or drove by it, I always loved the atmosphere and seeing people enjoying themselves outside during the summer. For my meal, I started with Italian Prosecco and grilled octopus as my appetizer. Then I had a veal entrée with gnocchi Mac n cheese, and for dessert, I enjoyed amaretto coffee with a delicious almond cake. Everything was freshly prepared, and the staff and service were incredible. While the veal wasn't my favorite, I think it's more about personal preference for that type of dish rather than the way the restaurant prepared it. I had the best salad there I have ever eaten in my life for dinner. We went back the next day for lunch. I wish I could give the food a 6! Service and atmosphere were also excellent and they threw in a free dessert for my daugher because it was her birthday. Excellent experience. There were two managers on staff and they were busy overseeing greeting customers at the door and regularly communicating with the kitchen staff. It is clear this establishment is obsessed with creating an excellent experience for their guests.

Beautiful place and environment! A group of friends and my family had dinner, we were taking to our reserved table right away! It has been the fastest service I’ve ever experienced and the food was AMAZING! Tyler was amazing! Extremely helpful and professional!!!! Best ever!!! I’ll recommend this to our family and friends always!
