The food is good. I came from far away just to go try the food. The waffle and jerk taste amazing. Could use a bit more chicken though… Mac pie was very delicious as well.

I came in and the owner was talking up a customer and telling him he really appreciates him and blah blah blah.. I was picking up a delivery order for his business and not even once did he say thank you to me and tell me that he appreciates me when I’m delivering orders for HIS customers. Saw a similar review about a customer complaining about customer service and treating people equally. Clearly that’s still not going on here. Just because I’m a delivery driver doesn’t mean I’m not a customer too! In fact, I’m picking up orders on BEHALF of your customers!

Food is amazing, so much flavour, big portions and very friendly owners. Definitely ordering from here again.

Update: decided to give another chance and I'm glad I did. BEST JERK CHICKEN EVER!!! Waited 45 minutes after I ordered for my food to be ready. Once I got home I realized they gave the wrong food. Went to the restaurant to get what they didn't give me (oxtail). They gave me the roti they orginally sent me home with. Returned home to finally eat my food. Realized they gave me 3 beef patties, I had ordered 4. Over all the food is alright but definitely not the best in Barrie. The vibe in the restaurant is very Caribbean, kudos to them for that. Hopefully once they are open for a while the service will get better. There's definitely a smell in the restaurant but I don't think it's any fault of their own as it smelled the same when the last restaurant was there. I feel bad for the Jamaican guy who was at the cash, he was doing so well but his partner dishing the food could be alot for efficient.

Food is always amazing! Super friendly staff and a great atmosphere. My new favourite spot!! Highly recommend!

I'm so happy to have my favourite food right around the corner. My wife and I ordered a Chicken Roti and Jerk Chicken Roti. They were both absolutely delicious! If you're around for breakfast certainly give the porridge a try! Everything looked so amazing - I'm looking forward to visiting again to try some new things. All of the Fellas are really friendly and welcoming.

As a caribbean person I was so excited to try this new west Indian spot, my family had ordered prior to me trying it they had nothing but good things to say about it. I ordered a curry chicken ( for my partner) and fried chicken meal and to my surprise the rice was spoiled, initially as we started eating I kept commenting that the rice and peas smelled different to what im used to but I gave it the benefit of the doubt since different caribbean spots use different ingredients based on where you are from in the islands. Unfortunately I was wrong, I ate 1/4 of my food until I had to throw in the towel. Both my partner and I had an upset stomach the same night and I know it was the food because I fasted that day as I normally do. Not the best first experience. I hope it was just a one off, I understand mistakes happen but in culinary business this is unacceptable.
