The food is way too overpriced for what it is. I am maybe harsher than others coming from an Italian family but the food was worse than I was expecting for the price. It is edible but lacks quality or interesting flavors, it feels like eating $20 Mac n’ cheese and calling it high class Italian food. The service was decent and the outdoor area was nice to sit in. I suggest anyone to just look up an Italian recipe and make it at home, if you follow the recipe it will come out better than food here and you won’t have to spend upwards of $40 for dinner for two.
We came here for Valentine's dinner. Hubby made reservations easily. We arrived on time and were seated promptly in the patio. We needed to be sat elsewhere because we were in a high traffic area. Our new spot was perfect, it even had the overhead heat lamps to keep my hubby comfortable. The food was excellent. I recommend the scallops. The filet mignon was tender and perfectly cooked. The flourless chocolate cake was rich and decadent. My only complaint was that there was an over 30-minute wait between the 1st course and entree. When we asked about the delay, we were told that my filet mignon takes time to prepare. Mind you, I always order my steaks, medium rare. We were served our entrees around the same time as another couple who came way later than we did. It was a busy night for their kitchen so some delay is understandable. Maybe it was just due to that. It was not an inexpensive meal, so I expected better service. I appreciated the complimentary long-stemmed red rose as we paid our bill.
My boyfriend made reservations for dinner because he saw they had french onions soup. Sadly we were not able to try it because we were told they had ran out for the evening. We had the crostini with prosciutto as an appetizer and that was good. We also ordered the pesto pizza and decided to not order anything else because nothing stood out. This seemed to bother the waitress and from that point on the service was not good. The pizza came out and it looked good but it was quite possibly the worst pizza we have ever had. It did not taste like pesto, the dough was similar to something you can get down the frozen section of your local grocery store. Ee each had a slice and could not eat more than that. We decided to get the check and go somewhere else.
Very good food $20 a plate but the crowd is very experienced not really our cup of tea but a nice restaurant none the less
The food was delicious and the service was great! Such a fun area to walk around after lunch.
Amazing food! Beyond words. Reminiscent of French cuisine. Highly recommend!
