I’ve been trying to call regarding a reservation, they have yet to answer the phone. Very unprofessional.

Sad to hear that Chef Gwen left. Very unfortunate.

The place was pretty cool but the food needs to be better. Jalapeno hush puppies were cold and hard the jerk chicken wings had no taste we had to ask for hot sauce to give it a kick. In given time I mite come back.

Came here a few months ago. At the time they were only open 2 months. They were out of some things but I enjoyed my food and drink. Dec recommend the bread and butters and the drink with the egg whites on top. Service was excellent. I can’t wait to come back.

I had a reservation tonight for my anniversary. Even got an email to confirm my reservation today… showed up to enjoy dinner and all the doors were locked. Called 5 times no answer. Thanks for ruining my anniversary. 0 stars

Drinks are amazing service is amazing!! Loved the atmosphere too! My husband and I sat by the fireplace outside it was nice

Highly disappointed! I booked this restaurant well over a month ago for my Galantine’s Day Brunch and they confirmed my restaurant the day before via email all for my guest to get to the location the day of and the doors are locked, chairs put up….the place wasn’t open! If they knew they were going to be closed on a specific day why take a reservation! No one ever answers the phone at this establishment. Overall DO NOT RECOMMEND! Poor communication style and yeah we couldn’t even get in for me to give a review on anything else and I won’t attempt to go back either!

I love Calypso’s! Definitely not a standard Soulard bar. They have an impressive drink selection, and of course regular cocktails and other beverages. The atmosphere is so cool! It’s very chill and very laid back. It’s a great place to get comfy, sit, and have a beverage or two. My only complaint, the service can be slow (but the staff is very friendly and very professional) However, I do continue to go back because the drinks are so good and I love the atmosphere.

Food was on point. Let me tell you that bacon OMG I’ve been trying to cut back on pork but mannnn if I had to break my own promise I’m glad I did for theirs. The Cornbread Benedict was soooo rich. I don’t even like hollandaise but the lemon hollandaise really sent this dish over the top. My friend had the Asaro and Shrimp when I tell you her plate was cleannnn by the end of our meal. The shrimp was extra jumbo lol when they say jumbo they mean it. The staff was amazing, Kayla really was the best wait/host staff I’ve encountered in a long time. When she wasn’t with us I could hear some of her interactions with other guest and she really brought a light to the ambience in the restaurant! The breakfast shot will get you right for sure. Thank you for a wonderful first brunch of 2024 to celebrate my friend! Had to come post my review here because open table would not allow me to
