No parking anywhere and a horrible smell when you enter. Boxes are everywhere in storw the smell is horrid. The food isn’t what it use to be
Great food made and served by great people. Been coming here since they were at the old location across the street. A chill spot preferred by us natives. My personal faves are the banh mi and shrimp fried rice.
Delicious place. I have eaten here a handful of times and also recently did take out for a bunch of dishes and they were ready within 20min. The sandwiches are great. The rice dishes (com bi suon ga) and pho are also good. Generous portions. The aunties working there are all very nice and overall the atmosphere could have been better if they renovated the place. It is a bit rundown but at least the food was great.
really good sandwiches and soups!! came here as a kid and totally forgot how good it was. really authentic Vietnamese flavors. I go as least once a week now, can't get enough!
Banh mi is excellent. Bread is perfect -- thin, crisp and slightly chewy. Prices are very reasonable.
Egg rolls are great! They are very crispy with a very satisfying filling. I rolled them into a lettuce leaf with some mint leaves and dipped them into the sauce that was provided. The best!!! Next, I had the #84 Grilled Pork BBQ Banh Mi sandwich. The sandwich was cut in half and the bread was awesome. The vegetables were fresh and paired well with the sliced pork which had a hint of BBQ smoke. I also dipped the sandwich into the sauce. What a great meal! Great on my meal budget too. The service was perfect - attentive but not annoying. The atmosphere was perfect for visiting with my friend. I highly recommend it.
The pho was kind of mid for Houston, but it's definitely above average for Pho in the USA. The banh mi was amazing though. I recommend the banh mi. The meat was well seasoned. The bread had a good crunch to it. The other fillings were great too.
