One of our neighborhoods hidden treasures.
Went here for New Year’s Eve with my daughter and the food was excellent! I don’t think our server understood me though. My daughter and I wanted to share a plate and she stated there would be a charge if we had them split it - I said no need as we had no problem sharing and splitting ourselves - we still got charged the $3.50 and they didn’t split it. We wanted to split as we got an appetizer and dessert too - our meal came with bread and a salad, as stated on the menu with a pasta dish. Since we were sharing I got another salad but we never got the one that came with the meal and I still got charged for the extra salad, which was fine, but where was the one that came with the meal. Refills on soda are also not free which would of been nice to know- $6 for two sodas seems like a lot ♀️ - when brought up to her, she just looked at me confused - overall enjoyed our experience but I feel like I paid too much.
A gem - takeout or eat in the food is great and so are the people
Garlic bread appetizer was 1 roll sliced in half cut into thirds for 6 pieces = not enough for 4 people. Taste was not very buttery or garlicky! Pizza thin crust was good but toppings (pepperoni, sausage, green (bell) pepper, black olive was not very distinctive. Cracker crust was delish, though! No comparison to Zaffiro's on east side (i.e, not as good!) Olive oil used for freshly baked bread tasted bitter though bread was good.
Best pizza and crispy eggplant ever.
