Cakes n Sweets

I only tried these little cakes here. While the presentation of the cakes were lovely, I found that tastes didn’t match the appearance.

My husband got the velvet cake for Valentine's day. It was so crumbly and dry and too much icing on it. Too commercialized I guess due to the event. Just a waste of our $65 for we ate just a small portion of the cake.

We got the red velvet cake for Valentine's day. It was quite pricey for the quality of the cake. Although the cake really looked so beautiful, unfortunately, the velvet chiffon was dry and hard. It seemed that they baked the cake too much ahead of time due to the occasion. We got the cake 2 hours before our dinner so no possibility of exposing it outside the box. The butter cream and the filling were too much and the icing on top is already falling off the chiffon. Sadly, it's our big regret to get this kind of cake for a special occasion. We could have something better at a cheaper price from other cake stores. Absolutely not worth our $65. We had just 1 tiny slice and that's it. No one wants to ever touch the cake again. P.S. Giving a 2 star for staff service. Trying to post this last month but for some reasons, couldn't do it.

We ordered a custom heart cake to announce our pregnancy. Cakes N sweets was fantastic to work with; accommodating, quick to respond and professional. The cake itself was exactly how I envisioned it to look like and it tasted great! Thanks again Cakes N sweets! ✨

I’ve come here many times for the red velvet cupcake so I got my family to order the cake for my birthday. The cake is definitely not the same quality as the cupcakes. Dry and crumbly with more icing than cake. The icing is mostly butter not cream cheese. Kind of disappointing considering the price. The red velvet cupcakes on the other hand are very moist and tastes like cream cheese. I don’t eat their other cupcake flavours because it tastes like all butter. But that’s a personal preference!

All of the guests really enjoyed the lemon curd and raspberry filling in the custom cake I had ordered for a 1st birthday. The icing was not too sweet. I really liked the way they took the time to decorate it. I was really pleased with the pricing and of course the taste!!
