Well the catfish has very smaller portions. The shrimp less shrimp. The hush puppies were not cooked all the way.The taste of the food was very bland. The french fries even taste different, cheap. They have ants crawling all on the floor in the bathroom and in the restaurant floor.
Food was just as if we were in New Orleans. Best we have eaten outside New Orleans Kid-friendliness: Kids were here eating Wheelchair accessibility: Open ramp to seating
Came here for my birthday last year because I was craving a good ole southern crawfish boil. Staff was amazing. Atmosphere was just fine. The food however left something to be desired. Not to say it was bad at all, just could use a little more authenticity. Spice level is a great option however if you think you're a level 3 you may actually be a 4 or 5 at this place. Would ABSOLUTELY go back.
Great food can't wait to go back!
The chicken was not fully cooked. Was not spicy I did not taste Cajun the right time was a long
Food is always delicious! 1lb of Crab legs with potatoe eggs and corn for 30.00. Served in a delicious spicy sauce (my choice of sauce)
Very much on the watery side. And super tasteless. Plus I asked for spicy and didn’t receive that either!!!! Disappointed because this was my favorite place not to far from my house and now I have to travel far out for good seafood boil
Worst seafood I’ve ever had! The absolute worst. the seasoning was watery and dirty looking, most seasons fell to the bottom of the bag and just oil/butter on top .. but the crabs still tasted like it just came out the sea the crab legs also weren’t cleaned it had a bunch of leech eggs still on the crab legs 🤮 . I wouldn’t recommend this place.
Food is very tasty and amazing service! one of my favorite place to hang out with friends. Highly recommended!
Cool spot. Food was descent and reasonably priced. Hapoy Hour specials were good. A group of us had dinner while in town for an event. Nothing bad, Nothing super special, service was fair. Overall I would eat here again if I was in town. (I had the build your own crab bag and Cajun wings)
Now that we have a Cagun in Minnesota. I'm from New Orleans, and knows Cajun and Creole food. Believe me not there yet, but good try. You have to let your seafood soak in the seasoning until serving. Down south has gulf shrimp and crawfish does not be sold year round. Louisiana have shrimp season and crawfish season. Once one of those seasons is not in season they don't sell until no shrimp or crabs.
Probably my fav spot to get seafood boil from, the flavor is excellent but i will admit the sauce is a lil watery compared to other places where it is THICK. but i rather have this!!! I like going during lunch because it is obviously cheaper but also not a problem when i go any other time of the day. Also- i have seen the shrimp no deveined but a lot of places do not devein their shrimp either,,,, just close your eyes and eat LOL
The boil is always delicious. I get the house mix. Staff is always polite and helpful.
Caught food poisoning twice from eating their shrimp po'boy and steamed oysters I would highly recommend eating somewhere else! Save your health and time!
