Bizarre experience Tuesday. Went in and asked for a macchiato. Paid etc, was given a double espresso? The lady who made it said i asked for a double espresso…. The gentleman next to me in the queue even said, that I ordered a macchiato to go. She was not understanding me, so i left with a double espresso ♀️. Do not think i will be returning.
Coffee and cake is ok, and the seating itself comfortable. But the really unfriendly bit about this place, which negates the purpose of the cozy furniture, is the chilly temperature, even in the secluded places far away from the entrance. I think they intentionally set the air conditioning to make it unwelcoming, ie. "Please buy and gobble down our coffee and cake, then get out as soon as possible." Most customers wear hoodies and their winter coats even inside." We will not come here anymore.
Couldn't really enjoy my coffee because it was so cold inside, they had the air conditioning on as if it was summer time.
Fast, efficient and friendly service. Great openness to the customer's needs. In addition to delicious coffee, you can enjoy a delicious breakfast.
As a study space this place is S TIER: open until 20:00 most days of the week, free WiFi, outlets. It’s probably the cafe open latest in Cambridge. If you’re a night owl like me, I usually study here until I inevitably retire to my college library since it’s the only place open. The coffee is what you would expect from a big chain like this, if you want some place with more atmosphere or better taste visit an independent place in town such as Savino’s.
Coffee was delicious! Parking: Nö
