I live close to Tehala and often take friends that visit to Caffe D’Arte for the views and breakfast burritos. I visited yesterday and asked if they changed their menu and the barrister said “no”. But the meat and potatoes, as well as the chorizo burrito are no longer available. Now it’s fake meat crumbles! I asked if they had any leftover breakfast burritos and she said “ I refer everyone to the menu” then she motioned her hand toward the menu on the counter. A simple yes would have sufficed. I ordered a London Fog and it had no steamed milk. My friend had regular coffee and had to ask for cream. We felt as though we were introducing on her lunch break which she was clearly taking right in front of us behind the counter. She was unfriendly and would walk away while asking what size of coffee my friend wanted. I thought she was talking to someone else. I understand this is a relaxed environment but being hospitable should be a requirement.
Pleasant with a great view
Baristas are always so sweet, patient, and kind! The food is a little bit more than I’d like to pay but it’s honestly so tasty. I love the paninis!! But you can also grab quick-to-go things like a packaged muffin, Nutella + breadstick cups, fruit snacks, yogurt cups; or quick to grab drinks such as juice, soda, redbull, etc. There’s also so many trails that lead all around the town that you can get to just by taking the one trail right out behind the cute building.
Great coffee and sandwich shop
Closed today (January 1st), even though Google maps shows as open.
The view of Rainier from the cafe is breathtaking.!
