I go here for the custard French toast, it is an absolute hidden gem on the menu. They also have a habit of hiring extremely cute girls to work the front which always helps The Pollo guisado is always a good safe bet for me and I prefer it to any other in this part of town. Not a fancy place or a 5 star restaurant, just a very good place to eat for locals in a chill atmosphere

The food was amazing and the place felt cozy. Delicious home cooked Dominican food that made this Puerto Rican very happy.

I have visited cafe tropical multiple times and each experience was great. I love the white rice with tripe stew. I will continue to go there.

Fui en una tarde calurosa al café tropical en la calle adersin en hackensack y pedí ime si sus jugos de naranja frescos y un buen plato de estofado de carne con plátanos arroz frijoles y una ensalada fue fantástico definitivamente regresaría cuando esté en la ciudad de nuevo
