Not sure why this place has such a low rating. The food is excellent and the service is lovely. It wasn’t very full when we came in, I assume because of the current rating- but can confirm it’s worth a visit!

Uns hat es sehr geschmeckt. Es wurde ausreichend Essen serviert und sogar nachgefragt ob wir noch etwas Reis haben wollen. Für unsere Tochter wurde sofort ein zusätzliches Gedeckt, ohne extra etwas zu bezahlen, gebracht. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Unfortunately a very poor experience at Cafe Masala last weekend. The staff were friendly enough but clearly stressed out by the owner (guy with glasses) belittling them behind the scenes (but loud enough that we could unfortunately hear). We were dining with 2 vegetarians and we told our waiter, upon ordering we were later told by someone who works in the kitchen that they use the same oil that meat is cooked in. No idea if this is against some form of health standards or not, but after being sarcastically told 'other vegetarians don't care' by the owner, we ended up leaving. Please reconsider dining/ordering from here, particularly if you have dietary requirements. Head towards Kew Bridge and there are better options there. Vegetarian options: Be warned - they use the same oil that they cook meat in. They didn't tell us this until some time had passed and we had ordered.

Initially saw this place and was going to walk past because there wasn't many people inside and had never been before, however, the smell of the food was lovely and noticed that a group sat by the window had practically licked their plates clean, so gave it a chance :). The food was absolutely beautiful from drinks, starters and mains and the service and staff second to none. Would highly recommend!!

What a proper classy and traditional restaurant. Amazing mix of fantastic food and service today at the restaurant. Thanks so much. Really recommend especially in this upmarket town for a bite to eat that was reasonably priced too. See you guys soon - defo!
