Cute, cozy italian restaurant. My DOJ client took me here once after I left the project to check on me - really nice guy, concerned about the fact that I worked for Deloitte, because he knew one of the homeless women who sold Street Sense by the DOJ and where she started. I had the salmon, it was pretty good and generously portioned. He had a really good looking parmigiana dish. It was maybe more of a romantic atmosphere than we expected for a work lunch, but I noted it to return. My client once took me to meet the homeless woman and give her money for lunch and listen to her story.
I read the reviews, and to me, the Marinara Sauce was excellent. Love the small comfortable feel of the place. The Service is too notch. Ordered the FBI .
Though our server seemed tired and put upon in the shift he was stuck with, his great personality and seasoned professionalism showed through. It's a pity that the food we were served didn't match his level. The plates were edible, but regrettable. Were it not for the wine and martinis we chose to indulge, we wouldn't have enjoyed ourselves at all.
Food wasn't what I expected. Friendly staff.
Don’t waste your money here. The food was fine at best, but a $14 plate of fettuccini better be delicious. I could’ve heated up sauce from a can that was better than here. A friend got a beer and the orange given on the side of the cup had mold on it.
Buddy got a blue moon in a bottle because all of their draft was down. This was the orange. The butter for the bread was cold and destroyed their good warm bread. The chicken parm was okay. I'm not one to complain about food but others I ate with said how bad their meals were. All the reviews of this place are hit or miss. Ours sure did miss.
