I have been coming here for years and recently i’ve noticed a difference in the quality of service and, in turn, the food. When the owner is there he will oversee all the food going out which is as expected, however, there have now been two separate times I have had an issue. Most recently, I ordered an iced coffee with milk on the side. This is usually not an issue here or at other cafes. Someone rang me up initially and charged me the correct amount for an iced coffee. Then the owner came over and made them charge me a whole separate transaction just for having milk on the side. It was only $2.00, but it is the principle of it that seemed unnecessary. I would have just put the milk in the coffee if I knew he’d charge me almost double just for putting the milk in the side.

What can I say? This place is the best around. Not only is the food and coffee consistently good but the customer service is top notch. Try the bagels, the coffee, the muffins! It’s all delicious. The owners and staff make you feel welcome the second you walk through the doors. And the owners remember just about everyone. It really is a gem.

Food is amazing and relaxed atmosphere very polite

The bagels here are amazing, easily the best bagels I've ever had. The shop sells their coffee by the pound and there are several flavored selections, with seasonal options as well. The counter staff are friendly and work so hard to make you happy. When the family are all home, I'll pick up bagels and coffee from here early in the morning before everyone wakes up. It's always a happy surprise. I'll hear "Oooh, are these from that bagel shop in Oaklawn?!!" Certainly a hidden gem. If you haven't tried it, do it! Dietary restrictions: Low carb bagels for Keto. Gluten free bagels. Oat milk for coffee. I have been asked by baristas if I have any food allergies. Parking: The parking is shared with other venues along the strip they are located in. I have not had parking issues, but I can see that the parking lot could get busy, which may result in a longer walk.

Very enjoyable first visit to Cafe Int'l. Recommended. Looking forward to another jalapeno bagel sandwich.
