Delicious food and friendly staff. Would go again :)
The experience was fantastic, we didn't get served at all. The server catered to the skip and doordash drivers, took a skip call, brought someone their tea and never once checked to see what we wanted. The server made eye contact a few times but never came to our table. The phone rang for a min and she told us to hold on as she took to call. We sat there for about 15 mins and still no service. We ended up leaving. A friend of mine took me there for the first time and I don't plan to go back. I was looking forward to what I wanted to order. My friend also said they will take long to make the food and we didn't have time to stay all evening.
The mango shrimp salad was fresh & tasty. The vegetable udon soup was served in a cast iron fry pan. How unique and keeps the soup warm. Kudos. Vegetarian options: The udon soup Dietary restrictions: Both GF & DF options
The overall dining experience was great. The spicy pork BBQ skillet, fried chicken bites and berry waffle we had were appealing and delicious. Yet, the food is a bit pricey.
Food is decent but very pricey, especially when compared to before.
This used to be one of my favorite local places. I'm not sure what happened, perhaps in the last year's the owners changed? The food did not have a good balance at all, felt just put together. The salmon was half cooked. And to top off a mediocre meal, they pre-emptively demanded a 15% tip from a family if six. We usually tip 20%, but this up front demand for a group so small, and done verbally, put us off. I'm pretty sad, but not sure we'll be back.
If you want an authentic Korean dishes in a more exquisite way, this is the place to be! They do have a wide selection in their menu, but expect that their prices are more than any other Korean restaurants we have in the city. Their food was well prepared and tastes really appetizing. We ordered of course my all time favourite “Takoyaki”, which for me is (5/5). Gyoza Tempura which were perfectly deep fried but the sauce, I feel like it needs more enticing flavours still (3/5). Okonomiyaki was phenomenal, so (5/5). Dak-Galbi was an ok dish, although I find it too pricey for its value, (3/5). Original Honey Bread was huge and simply tastes good (4/5). The place though needs more lighting and an interior update. No trouble parking. Service here was efficient and pleasant which for me is very important. My experience in total was warm and lovely! So, this place is definitely a gem to keep.
Love this place. Great food and cute decor.
