Es un placer cenar en este restaurante. La comida (esa sopa de cebolla!!), la música, el trato... un bistrot en el centro de Valencia.
I wanted French food because I knew I'd be able to get well prepared vegetables with my meal. My body wasn't reacting well to the meat-, cheese-, potato-heavy cuisine. When ordering I asked the server which dishes came with vegetables other than potatoes. She said the veal stew and the lamb stew had vegetables. I ordered the Salad Lyonnaise and the veal. My husband ordered the lamb. My meal arrived, and I'm sorry I didn't take a photo, because it was a laughably unappetizing shade of gray broth with 4 lumps of meat and 1 half a coin of carrot shaved thin and another half coin just slightly thicker. That was the vegetable. No joke. It tasted like it looked, and I sent it back. The salad was about 1/2 cup of ham, not crispy, and a couple mushy croutons in a pool of watery dressing. The cherry tomatoes and soft egg were good. I am bewildered by the good reviews. This was not French food, although they did have French fries on the menu. I don't recommend it. Two stars for the nice wait staff and the garlic bread served at the start of the meal. Oh, and they charged us 1.50 for the bread basket we didn't order.
Výborné jídlo, milá obsluha, příjemné prostředí. Lepší cibulačku jsem nikde jinde nejedla.
Three evenings, an excellent French meal at reasonable prices. We will come back soon. Friendly and attentive service. Simply great. Better than in Paris.
