Food is meh. Holy grease! (but i suppose after a few beers that might not be such a bad thing) Love the atmosphere and location though!
The food itself was great. We had the pretzels and cheese as a starter.
Went here for lunch the other day for the first time since moving to Evergreen a couple of weeks ago. It's your typical "bar food" menu and the inside is decorated as a cool bar that I would want to hang out in. We had the wings and the Philly Cheesesteak and we both loved it. Way better than we expected. My wife says it's the best Cheesesteak she's had outside of Philly and it's probably because they serve the cheese the same way that they do in Philly. The honey stung garlic wings were amazing and so was the ranch which had a hint of dill. The service was very friendly and great. Couldn't ask for a more friendly and attentive server. The only thing that dampened the vibe was a couple of children running around while their parent sat at the table starting at her phone. That's more on the parent than the restaurant but it makes me hesitate on going back for lunch as screaming kids running around doesn't make for the vibe I was looking for.
We stopped at Cactus Jack’s for a bite as we were driving through Evergreen. We split the hot ham and cheese sandwich with sweet potato fries. It was perfect for lunch! The staff was very friendly.
Best staff ever!! The food is always great !
Good but slightly expensive food, eclectic atmosphere, and good beer selection.
Very friendly staff, great drinks and food, sometimes they have live music and they let dogs on the patio. Karaoke on Saturday nights at 8pm is always a good time. Highly recommend! Disclosure: not a ton of parking around Parking: Small lot next to the building is usually full, some street parking by the dam or down the road to the right if you're at the fork
I'm part if a women's hiking group. When in Evergreen, this is our fav family-owned friendly eatery with a sense of community & history. Hey, if the locals go there you know you done good
