Miss couple items. Please double check if you ever want to buy anything from this store.
durian choux and pandan waffle, both good. pate a choux was well filled and nicely salted. second time: choux was a bit dense and underfilled, but the egg tarts were good.
If you love pandan, this is the place to try. Ordered ahead and the pandan waffles were fresh to go. Their pandan bread is also scrumptious. Family owned with that feeling of being at home. Highly recommend
Reserved a cheesecake Sunday afternoon. Specially made the trip to pick it up and was told it was sold to somebody else. If you’re going to sell it anyway, either dont take the reservation or at least have the courtesy to call and so I don’t waste gas and time. Thanks.
I've tried their ube croissant and plenty of their custards but the only thing I really like is their kaya croissant. It's pandan flavor and not too sweet. I recommend ordering for pick up because there's usually a line outside. There are no dine in options.
Very disappointing. Maybe I got super unlucky and got the worst batch since they opened. I got the pandan croissant (apparently one of their popular items) and all 3 flavors of their egg tarts. Not sure how it is intended, but some of the egg tarts were warm and some of them were slightly cold (was one flavor supposed to warm and rest cold?) The croissant was quite stale. The egg tarts flavor were lacking and bland. For its hype I expected alot better. You can find same quality at any local Chinese bakeries in the bay area.
It's pretty busy here most of the time so I highly recommend ordering ahead and picking up, sooo much faster! However the most recent order I placed for pick up, the packaging was pretty bad as my choux was on the bottom and they stacked all my eggtarts on top of it which flattened all my choux that the cream were all oozing out. Definitely couldn't bring those for a party anymore. I hope they can do better with packing the fragile pastries better/ separately. Durian Egg tarts were delicious though!
