Food is always delicious, fresh and hot! Customer service is top notch. Sides are good and desserts too.

Detroit Ribs were TENDER & FABULOUS! Greens & Hot Water Bread (not sweet) were Good! Baked Beans & Banana Pudding were Good! Several Framed Magazine/Newspaper Award Winning/Best Articles on the Walls! Service was Respectful but a bit slow through no fault of his own! Call Ahead! Parking: Small number of parking spots. Wheelchair accessibility: Street/Ground Level.

Absolutely sublime, melt in your mouth BBQ. My boyfriend and I were so impressed by the quality of the food, I truly don't think I've had a better chicken thigh or drummy before. Tons of savory flavor!

Drove a while to get here. Should be open but were closed. Very dirty inside so never going back.

I had the pulled pork at closing time. Smokey flavor was phenomenal. The meat was a little dry but it was closing time. The coleslaw was coarse cut sweet with just a touch of heat. Will definitely order again. Atmosphere was perfect for a small Is mostly take out barbecue joint. Go give them a try.

You want to eat here! I had the ribs which were impressively tender and meaty with a terrific barbecue sauce. I also had a side of fried okra and the hot water cornbread. Just delicious. I had a bite of my friend’s brisket and coleslaw and those were both excellent as well. And those desserts! Definitely going back for those as well as collards and working my way through all the fish choices! The proprietor is a lovely fellow who cares about his product.

The food is absolutely on point. Coming from the south, BBQ is a big thing. The rib rips were tender and juicy and the brisket was melt in your mouth tender. Smoke flavor came through as it should. We will return thanks!!
