Buya Ramen

Really wanted to love this place, but the service was absolutely horrific...We honestly were thinking our server was on drugs this past Saturday evening. It was busy, but not slammed, so there really wasn't any excuse for our server's neglect and dirty glances. Food was good- the short rib ramen was a hit at our table but it needed some of the additions (chili oil and Togarashi were my picks!). Liked the creative cocktails on the menu- those were the highlight of our visit. Willing to try again, but if we get the same server, it's a no go for our group.

It took a long time to get our ramen. We waited about 50 minutes and it wasn’t that busy. However the taste was very good. They were accommodating if you wanted to exclude an ingredient which was nice. They did not offer free refills on soda or lemonade. For 2 ramen bowls and 1 lemonade it was $48 before tip so it is on the pricer side for ramen.

Slow service. Plain food. I wanted to like it. I didn’t.

Granted I was flying solo on the night I came in but, wow. This place is really good. Service can be a minute at times it’s busy, but it will be more than you need for dinner. Started with the shishito peppers. Different but good. I got the short rib ramen and added the table spices to it. Bravo. Fantastic. Drank the last drop of broth. It was delicious. I got a Japanese whisky to pair everything together with a glass of hot sake to finish it all off. Only wish there was a carafe of hot sake available. Go here. It’s awesome.

Today was my first time coming to the restaurant, and as other reviewers, the service was lacking. I ordered a pork Ramen bowl, and requested information on the lunch portion. I requested a lunch portion, finished my food, and then was brought a check that read for the dinner size. The server said that she didn’t know for sure that I wanted the lunch size, although I had requested information on it and told her twice. I would just recommend Making sure that they put your order in exactly how you requested. Seems like an intentional mis-charge. Food was definitely average, service could have been better. Will consider coming back. Food seems a bit overpriced as well.

Amazing! Found this place a few months ago and have been back almost once a week since. And they actually have a ✨lunch special ✨ which is a huge draw for me. I've tried a variety of their drinks which are all great. My go-to ramen has been the short rib. I strayed once a got shrimp, and honestly it was not my favorite. Gyoza is good, and the new aioli fries are the best. I can't say it's 100% consistent flavor, but I've never been disappointed! I believe our waiter is usually Brandon and he's another big reason we enjoy coming back! 5⭐

We had a reservation, got seated quickly but that’s about it. No server ever stopped at our table, so we left. Seems to be a problem there, restaurant was empty. Not coming back.
