I swing by at the end of the day and got very friendly service from Rafid. Got the double chocolate chunk (and loved it). I was skeptical to come because of the lack of indoor seating, but I think it gave the entire place a very retro vibe. If only someone could come out and serve the orders on rollerskates.
The peanut butter banana sundae was out of this world.
Some of the negative reviews would have me believe the posters are purists who milk their own cows and churn their ice cream by hand. The ice cream is good here and they have a variety of flavors. Is it the best ice cream I’ve ever had? No, but it’s good and convenient for Vienna and the only other ice cream shops I’m familiar with in this city are Cold Stone and Ben and Jerry’s and Toby’s. Not trying to throw shade at Toby’s, but Bruster’s is way better. My 1 negative comment is there’s no indoor seating, but it’s not a big issue.
Good ice-cream home made. Friendly employees with great customer service.
The flavors are delicious but I was expecting the peanut butter cup sundae to come with bigger scoops of ice cream than was served. The scoops weee much smaller than at any other place I ordered. Very disappointed to pay $8+ tax for this.
Get the white Rasberry truffle. About 20 varieties available. No seating inside. Order at window.
