Brooklyn Pie & Cafe

Food tasted amazing, staff was very friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere had a coffee shop like feel to it, which I very much enjoyed, will come here again.

The family that runs this restaurant are just magnificent people. Like truly genuine. Literally everyone in the establishment has been more than kind and generous to me. I've legitimately never received a bad plate of ANYTHING. They are on point with all that they do. This is one of those restaurants that make you feel like family.

Owner was nice enough to allow me to bring vegan cheese to his establishment and make me a pie. Very good and I'd come here again

I had high hopes after reading reviews but this place was not worth it. Will NOT return. Not child friendly. Pizza took ONE hour. One worker, extremely slow and ZERO service skills. The man doesn’t smile- he looks like hates his job. The atmosphere felt heavy & depressing, like walking into a funeral home. It was also super warm, like owner doesn’t wanna spend money on AC- felt like an oven. The Cheese and pepper on table jars were so old they had no color and smelled awful. This is place is just a NEVER again for us. EDIT AFTER OWNER responds: So apparently the man working IS the owner and he was not too happy about my HONEST review. He is Incredibly rude and I want to edit my post so that if any parents with young children consider coming here- be aware- this man doesn't like or welcome children into this establishment. I did not expect any sort of entertainment as I had PDF books that we were reading while we waited an hour for one large pizza. We moved tables because the one we were at was closest to the kitchen and it was very hot, my children were sweating. Anyone with children under 5 yrs of age will understand this trouble. Nobody expects entertainment, we simply expect decent customer service. I am so sorry that your heart is so troubled by children. I will share this experience with everyone I know especially parents, I don’t need anything from this business just to share the experience and warn others. Also the fact that you think buying groceries at Walmart is an insult says more about you than me sir. FYI- i grow a lot my own foods and like to feed my children healthy meals, we like to support locally owned places on the rare occasion we eat out- your comment is so uncalled for and glad you show your colors so people can see for themselves the kind of owner you are and what you believe.

Pizza was good and the owner was cool enough to sit and chat for a while.
