Very meh. Too high priced for sub par food and service. Kid-friendliness: Not kid friendly.
I've been a customer here since my high school senior dinner. Then my wedding rehearsal dinner was here. Now my husband are regulars for lunch or brunch. For lunch it's always a crab cake sandwich. For brunch crab cake Benedict. Perfection every time! Food and service has never let us down. A must if you're in the area!
Great place to hang out and have beer.
Good service, vibes and food
The owners have really improved Brocks over the last few years. The food is great and I love the back bar area by the river for lunch. The salmon goat cheese salad is great and the fried chicken sandwich is better than Popeyes.
Had dinner here after a long walk downtown with some friends and I felt like the bartenders ignored us for the most part. I had to wave my arm in the air to get someone's attention to take our food order after waiting patiently for what felt like 15 minutes. They were not that busy at the time. Drink refills came slow and many empty glasses left on the table. Sloppy, slow, inattentive service. The food was good. I ordered a salad with fried chicken and it came out with no chicken, but a bartender corrected that.
Great bar and grill with great food. The service is mostly on point although it can be hard to flag down a server during the lunch rush if an extra utensil is needed. Great view of the Rappahannock River and the trains coming and going across the bridge. Their take on eggs benedict for brunch is delectable, their crab cake sandwich is delicious, and even their vegetarian meatball "ramen" bowl is great. Great food and drinks at a reasonable price. I will definitely be back. Surf Wisely. Vegetarian options: As pescatarians, my wife and I have eaten both seafood dishes and fully vegetarian dishes here. All were delicious.
Excellent!!! We were having a business luncheon and it was amazing!
