I came to Brindle Distillery with my friend for a gin workshop as she'd done one before and had highly recommended it. Jack, the host, was so knowledgeable about the history of the company, the background of each gin and how to craft your own. We got a g&t made with each of the Cuckoo gins, and then created our own combination of flavours from loads of different ingredients. The gins were judged at the end, so I was able to return to the distillery for the second round of the competition and had another great experience. Great atmosphere, beautiful venue, amazing staff - I'm looking to book the next visit for a live music night! The gin workshop is such good value for money, I'd definitely recommend.
We attended the Gin making afternoon today, and what a great experience it was. The welcome from Jack and his lovely assistant Lilly was so nice. We were seated at the individual stills and provided a large Gin and Tonic (dbl measures). Jack took us through the manufacturing process, demonstrating all the amazing equipment. More Gin ! whilst Jack guided us through concocting our own Gin with whatever flavours we liked and went on to produce our own Gin to take home. More Gin ! Forgot to say we also were provided a small snack which was very nice. We were gifted this visit but have to say worth every penny. Lastly we were judged by Jack and he picked a winner You have to give this local business a visit. Well done Cuckoo Gin
